*Support the Financial Controller in overseeing the Accounts Department and overall financial operations.
*Manage a small team of three, including delegation, workload management, training, and technical guidance.
*Assist in preparing financial statements under UK GAAP and support year-end processes, including liaising with external auditors.
*Ensure accurate and timely monthly management accounts, debtor reporting, and weekly cashflow forecasts.
*Oversee effective cash management to maximise interest on surplus funds.
*Develop and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures to support the business’s growth.
*Provide ad-hoc support to the Financial Controller and wider finance team as required.
