Paralegal – Residential Conveyancing

Reed are currently recruiting on behalf of one of their clients, an established Glasgow based Legal Firm to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal. This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary available. As part of a small team, you’ll oversee all aspects of conveyancing work and be confident managing your own caseload of work.


A typical day will include:
*Communicating with other legal firms and banks in relation to the conveyancing transaction
*Taking instructions from clients
*Adopting a client focused approach, always working in the best interest of the client
*Drafting, collating and sending supporting legal and financial documents
*Dealing with financial element of transactions
*Receiving and reviewing mortgage instructions from lenders
*Overseeing the conveyancing process from start to finish
*Completing the registration of deeds


You’ll bring:
*Previous experience working as a Paralegal in Scottish Residential Conveyancing
*Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise work to meet deadlines
*Confident working with case management systems
*Confident drafting legal documentation
*Ideally you will have completed your Paralegal qualification although this is not essential
