We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing business based in Ashford, who are looking to appoint an experienced Stock Controller to join their operations team.
This is a key position within the business, responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring stock integrity across the site. The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Maintain and manage accurate stock records across all inventory lines
*Conduct and oversee weekly physical stock counts (every Friday)
*Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies
*Work closely with the operations team to support production and stock availability
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of stock control processes
Candidate Requirements:*Several years’ experience using stock management systems (such as Sage or similar platforms)
*Experience with CIM50 or CIM100 would be advantageous
*Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
*Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
*Proven experience within a manufacturing or similar environment
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday (38 hours per week), offering a salary of £32,000.
