Legal Assistant – Conveyancing

TSR Legal are delighted to be working in partnership with an exciting and well-regarded regional law firm to recruit a Legal Assistant / Administrator to join their busy Conveyancing team in Marlborough.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm with newly established offices, offering a modern working environment and a supportive, forward-thinking culture.
The Role
As a Legal Assistant within the Conveyancing department, you will play a key role in supporting fee earners with a varied residential property caseload. You will ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality administrative and client support throughout the conveyancing process.
This position would suit someone with previous conveyancing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
*Providing day-to-day administrative support to fee earners within the Conveyancing team
*Preparing and managing correspondence, documentation, and legal forms
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties in a professional and timely manner
*Opening, closing, and maintaining accurate client files
*Supporting matters from instruction through to completion
*Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary within a busy Conveyancing department
*Comfortable managing a varied workload and working to tight deadlines
*Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
*Confident communicator with a professional and client-focused approach
*Able to build effective working relationships across the team
*Proactive, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
