Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting an established and highly regarded fabrication business, to appoint an experienced Fabrication Supervisor for their facility in Barnsley.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, leading from the front and delivering on quality every time.
Key Responsibilities of the Fabrication Supervisor include:
*Oversee and coordinate day-to-day welding and fabrication activities
*Lead, motivate and support a skilled team of welders and fabricators
*Remain hands-on with fabrication and welding tasks when required
*Ensure all work is completed to drawing, specification and deadline
*Maintain high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
*Work closely with management to plan workloads and drive continuous improvement
*This position suits someone who leads from the front and sets the standard through their own work ethic and technical ability.
We’re looking for Fabrication Supervisors with the below skills & experience:
*Proven, strong experience in MIG and MAG welding
*Solid fabrication background within heavy engineering or industrial environments
*Previous supervisory, team leader or mentoring experience
*Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
*Organised, proactive and solutions-focused approach
