I’m currently working with a highly respected, design-led planning consultancy with a strong national reputation, looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join their growing Leeds team.

The OpportunityYou’ll be joining an established and well-connected planning team working across a diverse portfolio of projects including:
*Major residential and mixed-use schemes

*Strategic land promotions

*Commercial and employment developments

*Urban regeneration projects

This role offers genuine exposure to high-profile projects and the opportunity to take ownership of schemes from early-stage strategy through to determination.
The RoleAs Senior Town Planner, you will:
*Lead and manage planning applications and appeals

*Prepare planning appraisals, statements and strategy reports

*Provide clear, commercially focused advice to clients

*Manage client relationships and attend meetings with stakeholders

*Mentor and support junior team members

*Contribute to business development and networking activities

You’ll play a key role in shaping projects and strengthening client relationships across the region.
About YouWe’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
*MRTPI qualified (or working towards)

*Private or public sector planning experience

*Strong report writing and project management skills

*Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence

*A proactive, solutions-focused approach

Experience across residential and strategic land work would be particularly beneficial, but a varied planning background will also be considered.
