Job Description:
Part-time Administrator | Professional Services | Bristol City Centre | FTC to December | 20–25 hours per week, onsite
About the Role
Our client, a well-established professional services firm with a warm, detail-oriented support team, is seeking a Part-time Administrator to support the smooth running of their office. This role is central to ensuring an exceptional workplace experience for colleagues and visitors, and it combines facilities coordination, office administration, and business support activities.
This is a part-time, on-site role based in the client’s Bristol city centre office.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities & Office Coordination
*Maintain a high standard of office presentation, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and smooth daily operations.
*Clean coffee machines, empty dishwashers, and oversee general workplace upkeep.
*Coordinate parking facilities and manage office supplies, consumables, and weekly shopping orders.
*Liaise regularly with multiple offices to support consistent office management across sites.
*Manage supplier relationships (cleaning, mobile phones, plants, office supplies).
*Support health and safety compliance including annual PAT testing, fire extinguisher servicing, and risk assessments.
Room Setup & Visitor Support
*Prepare meeting rooms for internal meetings, training sessions, and larger team gatherings.
*Lay out seating and equipment as needed.
*Occasional meet-and-greet for visitors (no phone answering required).
Administrative & Client Support
*Create client documentation as part of engagement and onboarding processes.
*Produce engagement letters, referral agreements, and carry out compliance checks.
*Draft and complete documentation templates and client onboarding correspondence.
*Arrange travel and hotel bookings for UK and international trips.
*Provide ad hoc PA support to Directors.
*Support organisation of internal and external company events.
Skills & Experience
*Strong organisational skills and a proactive, detail-driven approach.
*Experience in an administrative, office support, or facilities role.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high presentation standards.
*Confident communicator with a warm, professional manner.
*Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
Contract & Working Pattern
*Job Title: Part-time Administrator
*Hours: 20–25 hours per week, ideally over 5 days but flexibility available
*Contract Type: FTC until end of 2026
*Location: Bristol City Centre (onsite)
*Full-time equivalent salary: £26,000 (this translates approx. £13.33 per hour)
