Job Description:
A unique opportunity for a charismatic, hardworking individual with emotional intelligence and a natural flair for selling to join a successful family-run business at an exciting stage of growth.
This is an entry-level position offering structured training, direct mentorship from experienced business owners, and the chance for the successful candidate to play a genuine part in the future growth and success of the company.
If you are ambitious, personable and eager to build a career in sales within a supportive SME environment — this role offers real progression into Account Management within 6–12 months.
The Role
Working closely with the directors, you will:
*Develop new business with independent retailers across the UK
*Build warm, long-term relationships with small business owners
*Visit customers nationwide (travel required)
*Attend trade shows and networking events
*Learn the product portfolio, market positioning and supply chain operations
*Contribute directly to expanding the company’s customer base
*This is relationship-led sales — not aggressive cold selling. Success in this role will come from personality, authenticity and commercial awareness.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
*Charismatic and confident and emotionally intelligent
*Commercially aware and able to relate to small business owners
*Hardworking and motivated to prove themselves
*Positive, energetic and professional
*Keen to build a long-term sales career
*Comfortable working closely within a family-run business
Essential:
*Full UK driving licence
*Own vehicle (mileage and accommodation covered for business travel)
Desirable:
*Some sales or customer-facing experience
*Degree in Business, Economics, Management or similar (not essential)
What’s on Offer
*£26,500 basic salary
*£30,000 OTE in year one
*Clear pathway to Account Manager within 6–12 months
*Full product and industry training
*Direct mentorship from experienced directors
*Mileage reimbursement and overnight accommodation covered
*Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
*Office-based in Reigate when not visiting clients
