Job Description:
We are working with a growing, technology-driven accountancy practice looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to manage a portfolio of clients and ensure the smooth delivery of accounting, tax, payroll, and advisory services.
This is a hands-on role for a technically strong, client-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring proactive, high-quality service.
• Oversee preparation and review of statutory accounts, VAT, payroll, CIS, and tax compliance.
• Conduct client review meetings, providing clear financial insights and recommendations.
• Support onboarding of new clients and training on digital accounting systems.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, developing technical and client-service skills.
• Identify opportunities for additional services, tax planning, or process improvements.
• Coordinate across internal teams to ensure workflow efficiency and timely delivery.
Candidate Requirements
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience in practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax compliance, and client reporting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• High attention to detail, proactive, and solutions-focused.
• Comfortable working in a digital-first, technology-driven environment.
