HGV TechnicianLocation: Bristol
Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic (DOE)
Shift: Day Shifts
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified technician looking to work day shifts with excellent earning potential and ongoing training and development.
Key Responsibilities*Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of HGVs
*Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
*Undertake vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards
*Prepare vehicles for MOT
*Complete relevant paperwork and job cards accurately
*Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements*Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair – essential
*Previous experience working on HGVs
*Class 1 (C+E) licence desirable
*IRTEC accreditation desirable
*LOLER certification desirable
*Tachograph certification desirable
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
