Job Description:
Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Central Birmingham
Pay: £90-£95 per day
Contract: 4 days per week (Term Time Only)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Central Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and committed to supporting children’s learning and development.
The Role:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Working with small groups and 1:1 to provide targeted support
Assisting pupils with additional learning needs where required
Helping to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Supporting behaviour management and pupil wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential
