Are you an experienced finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a respected organisation within the construction sector, is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Accounts Manager to lead their finance function and oversee a team of three.


This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is confident with Xero, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands the unique requirements of the construction industry. ?

What You’ll Be Doing
*Managing and supporting a team of three in the accounts department
*Overseeing Purchase Ledger operations
*Working daily with Xero accounting software
Handling all construction-related financial requirements including:


VAT submissions

HMRC returns

CIS returns

Subcontractor payments

PAYE
*Preparing accurate financial reports & assisting with month-end duties
*Ensuring compliance and maintaining strong financial controls
*Supporting senior leadership with financial insights
What We’re Looking For
*Fully AAT qualified ideally, or minimum AAT Level 3
*Strong experience using Xero
*Solid understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
*Experience managing or supervising a team
*Great communication, organisation & leadership skills
