Job Title: Assistant Management AccountantLocation: Windsor (office-based)
Reporting to: Senior Financial Controller
Role OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing finance team within an independent, technology-enabled advisory firm specialising in financial market risk management.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1–2 years’ finance experience who is looking to gain hands-on exposure across the full finance lifecycle while progressing with professional studies. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting management accounting activities and maintaining accurate financial operations within a collaborative office environment.
Key Responsibilities*Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
*Process invoices, receipts and payments
*Manage company credit cards and expenses
*Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
*Support month-end and year-end close processes
*Prepare VAT returns
*Monitor accounts payable and receivable
*Assist with payroll processing
*Maintain asset registers
*Support year-end audit queries
*Assist in preparing regulatory returns
*Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies
Experience & Qualifications*Previous experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
*Relevant undergraduate degree
*Studying towards or part-qualified in AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA (or equivalent)
