This is a fast-paced and hands-on role!
They are looking for someone highly motivated & organised, with great initiative and a can-do attitude.
The right candidate will need to be dynamic and able to work effectively under pressure. You’ll be involved across multiple projects at once, so must have the ability to independently run and act as ?rst point of contact on smaller projects from (initial concept brief, to quote/sign off/ cuttersharing and ?nal sign off / pro forma sharing), as well as, work well as part of a team, on larger projects & deadlines.

Qualification Requirements:
*Proven experience working as an account manager across both PRINT& PACKAGING projects, ideally 2-4 years of experience minimum.
*Excellent attention to detail. (This is very important!)
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills. [You will be the main point of contact for clients across multiple high-value accounts].
*At least 2 years management experience would be an advantage.
*Ability to manage project/ workload and job ?ow of all incoming client design to your team of x2 designers
*Knowledge of print specs & production: ie. PMS references & how they differ on coated/uncoated stocks and between digital and litho print etc. Knowledge of foil/ spot uv/ emboss/ deboss and other special ?nishes. Understanding of varied paper ?nishes - matt lam/ soft lam etc etc.
*Knowledge of where different specs sit within different price brackets
*Familiarity with specialised paper stocks - ie GF Smith/ Fenner etc
*Understanding of certain paper stock limitations / suitability and bene?ts within packing
*Have an understanding of various print & packaging lead times and how these vary between UK/ EUROPE / ASIA
*Ability to liaise with clients and discuss their visuals and suggest a suitable spec that will best visualise their creative, within their budget and timeline.
*A high level of competence in Microsoft O?ce software – PowerPoint, Word,Excel etc.


Responsibilities:
*Act as the main chair in new client meetings, assess client needs and create suitable briefs for both Design team and Estimating team.
*Act as main point of contact for existing clients and respond to all incoming emails re new quote requests, reprints etc.
*Relay specs,deadlines and project briefs to both the Design and Estimating team in order to provide the client with quotes and artwork in an e?cient manner for timely sign-off, allowing us to meet client deadlines.
*Help clients to brainstorm suitable ?nishes and design ideas when they don’t already have a concrete vision or spec.
*Act as quality control for samples from factories, ahead of sending to the client.[The same applies for VIP jobs on arrival to the factory]
*Manage the workload of a team of 2 designers
*Brainstorm creative ideas with the design team
*Help the Design Team align & generate the spec to match the creative
*Liaising with clients and our internal production team/ design team, to carry out on-going design edits and ?nalise print-ready ?les for both 2D print & packaging jobs.
*Keeping an up-to-date daily timesheet on Toggl task tracker


Remuneration:
*Salary up to £35,000.
