Job Description:
A great opportunity to join a globally operating and successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailers state of the art highly automated distribution centre in Warrington. Seeking either electrically or mechanically biased multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers to support the large engineering team.
Benefits:
*Salary of c£55k
*3 on 3 off shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) (6-6)
*24 Shifts per year holiday
*6% match Pension
*Bonus and Share schemes (c£4k annually after qualifying period)
Key responsibilities:
*Deliver hands-on engineering to support the logistics system running smoothly
*Perform both reactive and planned maintenance on plant and equipment
*Keep maintenance records up to date using CMMS system
*Follow safety and repair best practices at all times
*Contribute to continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives
Requirements of Maintenance Engineer:
*Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with Level 3 engineering qualifications
*Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment
*Working knowledge of PLC control systems, desirably Siemens S7
*Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential
*Happy to work a shift pattern with days and nights.
*Ok to work at heights when needed (via harnesses and full training etc)
