Job DescriptionWe are working with a well-established client who is looking for an experienced and motivated AAT Qualified Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Your main purpose in this role will be to support the finance function by preparing accurate financial information, maintaining client accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and deadlines.
What you will be doing:*Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Completing VAT returns and assisting with bookkeeping duties
*Preparing management accounts and financial reports
*Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts
*Liaising with clients and responding to financial queries
*Ensuring all records are maintained accurately and in line with regulations
*Meeting internal deadlines and maintaining high standards of work
What we are looking for:*AAT qualified (Level 4)
*Previous experience working in an accountancy practice or similar role
*Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and basic accounts preparation
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
