Company Overview – HGV Technician
Our client is a well established and highly reputable civil engineering company based in West Yorkshire. Due to continued growth and ongoing operational demand, they are now looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable role working on a modern fleet within a supportive and professional environment.
HGV Technician Role and Responsibilities:
*Service, maintain and repair a modern fleet of HGVs
*Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
*Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance
*Ensure all vehicles remain safe, compliant, and roadworthy
*Complete all work to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
*Maintain accurate service, inspection, and repair records
HGV Technician Skills and Experience:
*Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
*Strong diagnostic and fault finding abilities
*NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred but not essential)
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A proactive, safety focused attitude
*Reliable, professional, and committed to high standards
