Deputy Nursery Manager
Location: Birmingham City Centre (B5)
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: 35-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday (between 7:30am - 6pm)

Reed Education are working with a vibrant nursery located within a soft play environment in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. They provide a fun, stimulating, and nurturing space for children to learn, explore, and grow. The team is passionate about high-quality Early Years care, and they are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Manager to join our setting.


The Role
We are looking for a dedicated Deputy Manager to support the daily running of our nursery. This is a room-based role working closely alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and early education.
This position is ideal for an experienced Deputy Manager or a strong Room Leader ready to take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities
*Support the Nursery Manager in leading the day-to-day operations of the nursery.
*Work in a room-based capacity, ensuring high-quality practice and positive outcomes for children.
*Lead and support staff to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
*Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider team.
*Uphold all safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
*Contribute to planning, observations, and curriculum delivery.


Requirements
*A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above).
*Prior experience working within a nursery environment.
*Experience as a Deputy Manager or a Room Leader looking for progression.
*Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
*Passion for delivering high-quality childcare and supporting children’s development.
