Job Description:
Our client is on an exciting transformation journey — and we’re looking for a proactive, forward-thinking Head of Finance (Technical) to help shape our future.
As we prepare for Local Government Reorganisation, you’ll play a key role in maintaining strong financial governance and ensuring we’re ready for the changes ahead.
What you’ll lead
*Technical finance, statutory accounting, and treasury management
*Production of the Statement of Accounts and year-end processes
*Financial compliance, taxation, and audit liaison
*A skilled team covering Technical Finance, Treasury, Insurance, Income & Payments
What you’ll bring
*CCAB qualification (CIPFA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong leadership and people management skills
*Experience delivering high-quality financial services in a complex environment
*Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
*Public sector experience (desirable)
