Paralegal – Children Law Department
£26,000 – £35,000 DOE
Watford, Hertfordshire (WD17) + Hybrid
Our client, a leading Family and Legal Aid law firm, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paralegal to join their Children Law Department. You will support solicitors and counsel in delivering high-quality legal services to families and children, working on a diverse caseload of both private and Legal Aid-funded matters in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The role involves managing case files, preparing court documents, attending client meetings, assisting with Legal Aid applications, contributing to case strategy, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
*The ideal candidate will have experience in Legal Aid and Children Law matters, including Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, or Specific Issue Orders.
*Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using legal IT systems, including CCMS, are essential.
*Completion of the LPC or commencement of the SQE is required.
