Job Description:
Billing Specialist
A superb opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and detail orientated finance professional to join our prestigious US law firm client, housed in stunning offices in the City.
*Salary to £55,000
*09:30-17:30 working hours
*Hybrid working – 4 days in the office / 1 day remote
*Free lunch every Wednesday
*£100 monthly employee contribution towards lunch or other expenses
Billing Specialist Key Responsibilities:
*Prepare and review monthly draft bills to include addressing billing discrepancies
*Respond to all queries regarding time entry and/or billing; proactively contact timekeepers
*to review time entry protocols
*Participate in the collections process, resolving delinquent accounts in a timely manner
*Administer client engagement letter process
*Provide timely information on billing and collections
*Facilitate WIP & A/R write-off, client refunds and UAC application processes by preparing
Billing Specialist Skills & Requirements:
*2 years + previous billing / finance experience within a law firm is essential
*Excellent knowledge of VAT and understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules
*Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills
