Job Description:
Responsible for monitoring, assessing, and enforcing property- and asset-related regulatory standards across the Authority’s Housing Revenue Account (HRA) housing stock. This includes undertaking stock condition surveys, identifying hazards, assessing component lifecycle requirements, and ensuring compliance with statutory housing standards such as Decent Homes and HHSRS.
This role provides technical leadership within one of four geographic areas, working closely with Area Surveyors, Repairs Surveyors, and other asset management colleagues to maintain and improve the condition of housing assets. The postholder leads project work relating to stock condition, regulatory compliance, and asset improvement, ensuring the authority’s housing portfolio is safe, well-maintained, and fit for purpose.
