HGV Class 1 Driver – Crick
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term stability within a supportive environment.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday – Start times between 07:00 and 14:00
• Sunday to Thursday – Start times between 19:00 and 01:00
Rates of Pay
• £17.92 – £25.44 per hour
Rates of Pay (Detailed)
• Days – £17.92 per hour (basic)
• Days Overtime – £24.55 per hour (after 48 hours)
• Nights – £19.95 per hour (basic)
• Nights Overtime – £25.44 per hour (after 48 hours)

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Depot-to-depot trunking
• Operating and driving various Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured safely
• Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
Essential Skills
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category CE driving licence
• Minimum of 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience
• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
• Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial HGV driving experience
Training Provided
• Driver assessment must be completed prior to starting
