£35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience


Butler Rose are please to support a rapidly growing, modern, and entrepreneurial accountancy practice in Waterlooville.


Through their continued success, our client is looking to hire a Bookkeeper who wishes to step up into an Accounts position.


Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this brand new role will be responsible for:


*Assisting with the process of preparing accounts & tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
*Assisting with client meetings and fee reviews.
*Assisting with the preparation of client year end meetings.
*The completion and review of bookkeeping, VAT returns, and CIS.
*Prepare accounts & tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.


Essential skills:
*AAT qualified or actively studying and in the final stages of a qualification. Or, part ACCA / ACA qualified.
*Extensive experience spanning 5+ years in practice, overseeing a broad client base
*Sound understanding and working knowledge of tax.
*Must be able to prepare, review and check accounts & tax returns for clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
