Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:15pm | Friday 7:30am–3:15pm
Contract: 3 months
Pay Rate: £24.46 PAYE | £30.91 Umbrella
About the Role:
Seven Resourcing is looking for a skilled Gas Services Manager to lead mechanical and electrical operations within a busy services team. This is a senior, hands-on management role for candidates with experience in gas service delivery, multi-trade team leadership, and operational planning. You will oversee projects, ensure safety compliance, and manage staff, contractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality gas services.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the Gas section, including staff, contractors, suppliers, and administrative functions.
*Lead projects involving responsive, planned, capital, and commercial gas services.
*Represent trade-specific issues and manage operational processes efficiently.
*Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, standards, and policies.
*Support operational planning and delivery across the mechanical and electrical services team.
*Drive continuous improvement, safety, and quality in all gas service operations.
Candidate Requirements:
*Proven experience in gas service management or mechanical services leadership.
*Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
*Experience managing multi-trade teams effectively.
*Full driving licence and access to a car.
*Enhanced DBS check required.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
