Nursery Manager – Blackley, Manchester
Salary: £38,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm
Contract: Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week | 9:00am–5:30pm

We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our friendly team in Manchester (M8). We are a small, independent nursery with over 25 years of excellence in childcare.
As Nursery Manager, you will have the autonomy to stamp your identity on the nursery and make a real impact, supported by a committed team and generous benefits. This role is ideal for an Experienced Manager or a Deputy Manager ready to take the next step up, leading excellence across every area of nursery life, from quality standards and compliance to fostering a happy, supportive environment for both children and staff.

Responsibilities of the Nursery Manager
*Managing the day-to-day running of the nursery setting.
*Creating invoices and the collection of fees.
*Recruitment and ongoing training and development of all staff.
*Ensuring all staff adhere to the setting policies and procedures and government guidance.
*Managing occupancy to ensure it shows growth and meets the business aims.
*Maintaining accurate accounts and produce management information in accordance with the company procedure.
*Managing, monitoring, and controlling budgets.
*Promoting and facilitating partnerships with parents and carers.
*Developing and maintaining highly professional working relationships with local authority and other agencies.
About You
*Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (full and relevant)
*Have previous experience as a Nursery Manager (or strong Deputy Experience)
*Demonstrate a strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practices
*Possess excellent communication skills for interacting with parents and carers
*Be eligible to work in the UK
