Job Description:
We’re partnering with a market-leading organisation to recruit an FP&A Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join a large business offering genuine progression and the chance to influence high-quality financial insight at scale.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting across weekly, periodic, quarterly and annual cycles. You will support forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning for a defined area of the business, ensuring budget holders receive clear analysis, commentary and first-line business partnering.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of period-end close, reviewing consolidated results and preparing variance analysis that feeds into senior leadership reporting. You will also work closely with other teams to streamline reporting, enhance data quality and support wider efficiency initiatives across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce high-quality financial and non-financial reporting with clear top-line commentary.
*Deliver accurate budgets, forecasts and strategic plans in partnership with budget owners.
*Drive robust review of consolidated results to support period-end reporting.
*Collaborate with BI teams to transition reporting into modern data platforms.
*Support ad-hoc analysis and projects to improve insight and decision-making.
*Act as a first-line finance business partner, balancing service, efficiency and standardisation.
*Uphold strong data governance, validation and quality controls.
About You
*Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
*Strong Excel skills (Macros/VBA an advantage).
*Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
*Experience in reporting or analytical roles within multi-site or consumer-facing sectors beneficial.
*Proactive, positive and solutions-focused mindset.
