Your new role
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of multi-skilled engineers responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy, advanced manufacturing site. You will ensure maintenance work is completed to a high standard, coach and support engineers, and coordinate all maintenance activity through SAP to ensure KPIs are met.
Your key responsibilities will include:
*Managing and coaching maintenance teams, ensuring high levels of craftsmanship and accurate job reporting
*Coordinating workload via SAP and monitoring maintenance KPIs
*Managing equipment failure data and producing breakdown reports
*Procuring spare parts and materials for work orders
*Attending daily production meetings to prioritise activity
*Writing and reviewing maintenance procedures and risk assessments
*Carrying out full people-management responsibilities
What you’ll need to succeed
*A 4-year time-served apprenticeship (mechanical bias preferred)
*Mechanical engineering experience within a maintenance workshop environment
*IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
*Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and develop engineering teams
*Experience working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
*Experience using SAP for maintenance management (desirable)
