The Company
Commercial Finance Analyst - High Growth Business - Hybrid Working
We are partnering with a dynamic and fast-expanding organisation to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst. This is a brand-new role created to bring greater commercial insight, support strategic decision-making, and directly influence the future growth of the business.

The Role
The Commercial Finance Analyst will work day-to-day with the executive team, providing commercial analysis to support acquisitions, strategic initiatives, and the ongoing performance of the company’s event portfolio.
Duties will include:
*M&A & Strategic Analysis:
*Analyse commercial and financial information from potential acquisitions, including management accounts, statutory accounts and key KPIs
*Build forward-looking financial models (5–6 years) with scenario and sensitivity analysis
*Produce clear, concise board-ready packs outlining findings and recommendations
*Performance/Project analysis
*Analyse performance across the existing portfolio, reviewing revenue, cost drivers, trends and profitability
*Highlight opportunities to improve financial performance or inform strategic choices
*Provide commercially focused support on strategy papers and priority-setting
*Commercial Partner to the Leadership Team
*Act a business partner to senior leaders
*Deliver high-quality, ad hoc analysis to support board decisions
*Bring structure and insight to imperfect or incomplete information
The Person
*Commercial & Analytical Experience
*Background in commercial analysis, FP&A, audit, sales analytics or similar
*Ability to turn imperfect data into coherent insights and clear recommendations
*Strong Excel modelling capability, including multi-year scenarios
*Finance Grounding (Highly Preferred)
*Experience in audit, commercial finance or a similar environment
*Open to newly/recently qualified accountants (0–2 years PQE), part-qualified candidates, or those qualified by experience with strong commercial exposure
*Stakeholder & Board Interaction
*Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and presenting commercially impactful insights
*Curious, independent thinker with strong judgement and the ability to challenge constructively
*Thrives on variety, problem-solving and project-based work rather than routine cycles
*Confident operating in ambiguity and creating clarity from incomplete information
