Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle WMS Consultant to configure and implement Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionalities that support and optimise end-to-end warehouse operations. The role involves close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable WMS solutions.
Location: Darlington, UK (Onsite)
Contract Duration: 6 months
Experience Required: 6–10 years overall (minimum 3+ years in Oracle WMS)
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables*Gather and document business requirements, including fit-gap analysis
*Configure Oracle WMS setups such as: Rules, Task types, Picking and allocation strategies
*Prepare test scripts and provide SIT/UAT support
*Support issue resolution during SIT, UAT, and go-live phases
*Develop and deliver end-user training materials and conduct training sessions
*Ensure solutions align with best practices and business objectives
Required Skills & Experience*Strong hands-on experience with Oracle WMS configuration and transactions
*Solid understanding of: Inventory Management , Shipping Execution modules
*Proven experience across full implementation or enhancement projects
*Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
*Ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment
Nice to Have*Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse transformation projects
*Exposure to integrations with upstream/downstream systems
