We are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Wythenshawe that is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. Primary Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities
*Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum
*Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with SEN
*Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, or speech and language difficulties
*Assist with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities
*Help to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
*Support the monitoring and recording of pupil progress
*Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence


Primary Teaching Assistant - Person Specification
*Previous experience working in a primary school setting
*Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs is desirable
*A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
*Confidence in adapting support strategies for children with additional needs
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A good understanding of safeguarding procedures
*A genuine passion for helping children grow in confidence and succeed


Primary Teaching Assistant - To Be Eligible You Must:
*Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Have an enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply)
* Be able to provide two professional references (child-related preferred)
