Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)
Yew Tree Primary School is seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support . This is a long-term opportunity, ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide consistent 1:1 support
*Support learning, focus, and engagement in the classroom
*Implement behaviour and learning strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
*Offer emotional and pastoral support throughout the school day
*Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and confidence
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have experience supporting pupils with ADHD or SEND (desirable)
*Be patient, calm, and proactive
*Have strong behaviour management skills
*Be reliable and committed to a long-term role
*Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or have school-based experience
