Accountancy Practice Administrator
Part-Time | 3-4 Days per Week | 9am-5pm
Think Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with an Accountancy Practice who are looking for a highly organised Administrator to join their welcoming, close-knit team.
This is not a full finance role, but it would suit someone who has previously worked in a finance office, accountancy practice, or admin role within a professional services environment. If you enjoy structure, client contact, and being the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect fit.
The OpportunityThis is a varied, office-based administrative role where you’ll play a key part in supporting both clients and the internal team. You’ll be the central point of contact and the go-to person for organisation, follow-ups, and coordination.
You’ll receive a full handover and structured training over the first 1-2 months, ensuring you feel confident and supported from day one.
Key Responsibilities*Acting as the first point of contact for clients (face-to-face, phone and email)

*Managing new client onboarding and AML/compliance processes

*Chasing clients for documentation and outstanding information

*Supporting credit control and following up on unpaid invoices

*Liaising with HMRC regarding registrations (e.g. VAT, PAYE)

*General office administration and team support

*Assisting with basic bookkeeping administration (no technical accounting required)

What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in administration (experience within an accountancy practice or finance office is beneficial but not essential)

*Comfortable speaking with clients and building rapport

*Highly organised, proactive and detail-focused

*Confident managing multiple tasks and deadlines

*Someone who enjoys being the "organiser" and central support within a small team

This role would suit someone who enjoys a professional environment but prefers administration and coordination over technical accounting work.
