A welcoming and moderately sized primary school in Chesterfield is seeking a confident and experienced teacher to work Wednesday to Friday in a Year 2 class.
This position is part of a job share arrangement, so strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills are essential to ensure consistency for the pupils across the week.
The Role:*Teaching and learning within a Year 2 classroom

*Supporting phonics, early reading, and numeracy

*Managing the classroom to create an environment for positive behaviour and maintaining high classroom expectations

*Preparing resources and assisting with classroom organisation

The Ideal Candidate:*QTS essential
*Has recent experience working in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience preferred)

*Is a strong behaviour manager and confident supporting whole-class learning

*Is proactive, adaptable, and able to use initiative

*Communicates effectively to ensure smooth handovers within the job share
