Business Analyst - Data Focus (SC Cleared)
6-Month Contract | £405 per day | Inside IR35 | Fully Remote
We are recruiting an experienced Data-focused Business Analyst to support a central government programme. This role requires an active SC clearance and proven experience working within UK central government environments.
Role Overview
You will work across data-driven workstreams to capture, analyse and document data requirements, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and government standards. The role involves close collaboration with technical teams, data specialists and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
*Gather and document detailed data requirements
*Map data flows, data dependencies and data quality needs
*Support data governance, reporting and assurance activities
*Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate needs into clear deliverables
*Produce high-quality documentation including process maps, user stories and data specifications
*Support project milestones across analysis, design and delivery phases
Essential Experience
*Strong background as a Data-focused Business Analyst
*Central government experience (must-have)
*Active SC clearance
*Proven experience with data projects such as data migration, data quality, reporting or governance
*Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills
*Ability to work effectively in remote, multi-disciplinary teams
