Role Description:
A leading property management company is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties. This role offers the chance to take full ownership of property operations, ensuring buildings are safe, compliant, and maintained to the highest standards. You’ll work closely with contractors, tenants, and clients, driving service excellence, managing budgets, and coordinating both reactive and planned works across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct regular property inspections and manage remedial works promptly
*Build strong relationships with clients, occupiers, and service partners
*Ensure health & safety compliance across your portfolio using systems such as Meridian
*Oversee reactive and planned maintenance via CAFM systems, ensuring all documentation and certifications are accurate
*Manage service partner contracts and monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs
*Prepare, monitor, and manage service charge budgets, including quarterly and annual reconciliations
*Authorise purchase orders and contractor invoices efficiently
*Chair tenant/customer meetings and provide exceptional service
*Support colleagues with wider building maintenance issues when required
*Travel occasionally to other locations for meetings
Candidate Profile:
*Minimum 2 years’ Facilities Management experience within a UK managing agent
*IOSH qualified; NEBOSH preferred
*Proven experience managing multi-site commercial properties; residential experience desirable
*Strong understanding of hard services and building maintenance
*Experience managing contractors and service delivery
*Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills
*Methodical, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering a first-class customer experience
*Confident communicator at all levels
