Job Description:
This is a full time, on-site role located in Greater London looking for a Highways Inspector
This role involves conducting routine and ad hoc inspections of the A13 to monitor road conditions and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities include
*Identifying and reporting hazards, supervising maintenance activities
*Responsible for inspections of the geographical area within set routine and cyclical inspection regime, and ad-hoc inspection when required whether driven or walked.
*Assisting in scaffolding and hoarding applications when required
*Coordinating with contractors, preparing inspection records, and contributing to hazard prevention strategies to ensure road user safety and compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
*LANTRA Highway inspection training
*NRSWA supervisor training
*Experience in Highway Inspection, supervision, Health & Safety practices and Hazard Analysis
*Excellent communication and reporting skills
