Primary SEN Teaching Assistant

A well-regarded Infant and Junior School in the Borough of Brent is seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a term-time only, full-time role paid on a daily rate.
What will this Primary SEN Teaching Assistant position involve?
*Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs
*Assisting with EHCP targets and adapting activities to suit individual needs
*Supporting class teachers in managing behaviour and promoting engagement
*Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
*Liaising with SENCOs, parents, and external professionals when needed

ABOUT THE ROLE
*Supporting children with SEN across EYFS, KS1 and lower KS2
*Working closely with class teachers and SEN team
*£105 - £115 per day – Term-Time Only – Daily rate based on experience
*ASAP Start – Full-Time Role
*Based in the London Borough of Brent

*Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school or similar setting
*Patient, empathetic, and calm under pressure
*Proactive, enthusiastic, and able to build strong relationships with young children
*Able to follow support plans and use your initiative
*A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
