Ready to make an impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? We’re looking for a Repairs & Maintenance Support Officer to support the smooth delivery of repairs and maintenance services across our housing stock.
What you’ll do
*Support high-quality responsive repairs, voids and cyclical maintenance services.
*Monitor contractor performance to ensure works are on time, on budget and to standard.
*Maintain accurate housing, repairs and compliance systems.
*Work closely with the Customer Contact Centre to correctly diagnose and schedule repairs.
*Liaise with customers, contractors and colleagues to keep workflows moving.
*Assist with inspections, work orders, specifications and invoice processing.
*Produce clear reports and analysis on spend, volumes and customer satisfaction.
*Help manage Right to Repair cases, Environmental Health Orders and specialist surveys.
*Support contract management to ensure value for money.
*Keep asset, risk and compliance records up to date.
*Resolve customer complaints proactively and professionally.
*Commit to ongoing CPD and professional development.
What you’ll bring
*Knowledge of repairs & maintenance within the housing sector.
*Understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.
*Experience using housing, repairs, compliance or asset management systems.
*Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
*Methodical, organised and able to work independently or as part of a team.
*A strong commitment to excellent customer service.
*GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
