Eastbourne | Two-Form Entry Primary School
Start Date: After Easter Holidays
Academics / Term Time Teachers are currently recruiting for a dedicated and proactive 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Eastbourne.
This role will involve providing 1:1 support for a child with ADHD. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the pupil receives consistent academic, behavioural, and emotional support throughout the school day.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:*A minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting children with SEN
*Experience supporting needs such as:
*ADHD
*ASD
*SEMH
*Behavioural challenges
*Global Developmental Delay
*A calm, patient, and consistent approach
*Strong behaviour management skills
*The ability to build positive relationships and provide structured support
*Experience implementing behaviour strategies and supporting focus and engagement
The Role:*Provide dedicated 1:1 support within the classroom
*Support attention, focus, and emotional regulation
*Adapt tasks and learning materials to meet individual needs
*Implement strategies and targets outlined in support plans or EHCP (if applicable)
*Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN professionals
