Working closely with experienced class teachers, the Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils across Year 1, assist with lesson delivery, and help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.


The ideal Primary Teaching Assistant will hold a 2:1 or above degree in any subject and have a genuine ambition to pursue a career in Primary teaching. They will have prior experience working with children – whether in a school, tutoring, coaching or youth setting – and demonstrate confidence, patience and a proactive attitude in the classroom.


The successful graduate will be nurturing yet resilient, adaptable to the needs of different learners, and fully committed to a full-time, long-term role within a supportive Primary School in Tower Hamlets. JOB DESCRIPTION
*Primary Teaching Assistant
*Working across Year 1 (ages 5-6)
*Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing
*Providing 1:1 and small group interventions
*Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management
*ASAP Start
*Long-term / Term Time Only
*£105 - £125 per day
*Located in Tower Hamlets


PERSON SPECIFICATION
*A graduate holding a 2:1 or above degree in any discipline
*Passionate about working with children and pursuing a career in education
*Previous childcare experience is ideal (school-based, tutoring, coaching, youth work etc.)
*Proactive, reliable and enthusiastic
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
