Role: Part-Time Compliance Solicitor
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 FTE (Pro Rata)
Contract: Permanent | Part-Time (Flexible Hours Considered)

CRA Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly respected, well-established Sheffield law firm in their search for a Compliance Solicitor to support the continued growth and governance of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Solicitor with a strong understanding of SRA compliance, risk management and regulatory frameworks who is seeking a flexible, part-time position within a progressive and supportive firm.

The Opportunity
As Compliance Solicitor, you will work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the firm remains fully compliant with SRA regulations and best practice standards.
This role would suit someone looking to step away from full-time fee earning, return to work in a flexible capacity, or focus on risk and governance within a forward-thinking legal practice.

What you’ll be doing
* Advising on SRA regulatory compliance and professional conduct matters
* Supporting and maintaining compliance policies and procedures
* Assisting with file audits and risk reviews
* Providing guidance on AML, data protection and conflict checks
* Acting as a key point of contact for regulatory queries
* Supporting COLP/COFA responsibilities (if appropriate)
* Promoting a culture of compliance and best practice across the firm

What they’re looking for
* Qualified Solicitor (likely 5+ years PQE)
* Strong working knowledge of SRA Standards & Regulations
* Experience in compliance, risk or practice management within a law firm
* Confident communicator with the ability to advise senior stakeholders
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Someone who enjoys being a trusted advisor within a legal business
