About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Class Teacher with strong SEN experience to join a specialist independent SEND provision in the Croydon area. This is a long-term role with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will be working with pupils who require a tailored, holistic approach to learning, using creativity, structure, and therapeutic strategies to support their academic and personal development. The school offers excellent support from a multi-disciplinary team and values teachers who are nurturing, resilient and passionate about inclusive education.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
*Strong experience working with SEN pupils (ASD, SEMH, cognitive & communication needs)
*Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated learning for small class groups
*Confident managing additional adults in the classroom
*A calm, patient and child-centred approach
*Available to start immediately
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service(essential)
*Easily contactable references from your two most recent employers (we must clear candidates for registration ASAP)
