Job Description:
We’re looking for an HR Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources department. This role ensures the smooth operation of HR processes, supports recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations activities, and helps maintain accurate employee records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting people and processes in a professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in posting job adverts, screening CVs, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing offer letters and orientation schedules.
Maintain candidate databases and provide regular updates to hiring managers.


2. Employee Records & Administration
Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR databases.
Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (e.g., absences, new hires, terminations).
Update HR policies, procedures, and documentation as directed.


3. Employee Relations & Support
Act as a first point of contact for basic HR inquiries and escalate when necessary.
Support HR projects such as performance reviews, training, and employee engagement activities.


Assist in organizing company events, staff meetings, and wellness initiatives.
4. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure all HR practices comply with UK employment laws and company policies.
Prepare HR reports and metrics as requested by management.
Support audits and ensure all employee documentation is up to date.


Qualifications & Skills:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HR software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar) is a plus.
Confidentiality, integrity, and a professional attitude.

Salary dependent on experience and level of skills, minimum London Living Wage
