This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to take on a key role within a respected national consultancy, delivering high-quality planning advice across a diverse range of projects.
The RoleAs a Senior Planner, you will lead and manage planning applications and development strategies across sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, and mixed-use schemes. You will play an integral role in client management, project delivery, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities*Leading the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

*Undertaking detailed site appraisals and providing strategic planning advice

*Drafting and reviewing Planning Statements and supporting documentation

*Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact

*Liaising and negotiating with Local Planning Authorities and consultees

*Supporting and mentoring junior planners

*Monitoring changes in planning legislation and policy

Candidate Requirements*Degree in Town Planning or related discipline

*MRTPI qualified

*Strong experience within consultancy or local authority

*Commercial awareness and client-facing confidence

*Excellent report writing and communication skills

*Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
