Town PlannerLocation: Lincoln Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well respected property consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their established Planning team in Lincoln.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Planner with consultancy or local authority experience to join a well-respected multi-disciplinary property consultancy, working across a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial, rural, and mixed-use developments.
The RoleAs a Town Planner, you will be involved in delivering planning advice and managing applications across a varied client base. You will work closely with senior members of the team on a range of projects from early-stage site appraisals through to submission, negotiation and determination.
Key Responsibilities*Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals

*Undertaking site appraisals and planning research

*Reviewing local planning policy and development frameworks

*Liaising with Local Planning Authorities and key stakeholders

*Supporting senior planners on larger and more complex projects

*Managing your own smaller-scale projects

*Assisting with client communication and project coordination

Candidate Requirements*A degree in Town Planning or related discipline

*MRTPI qualified or working towards Chartership

*Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority

*Strong report writing and communication skills

*A proactive and organised approach to workload management

*Full UK driving licence desirable
