Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant- GCSE to join a well-established, forward thinking secondary school based in Accrington.
Position Details:
*Job Title: Teaching Assistant - (GCSE support)
*Location: Accrington, Lancashire
*Start Date: ASAP
*Contract Type: Full-time until Easter 2026 (possibility to extend further)
*Working hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
*Hourly Rate: £80-100 per day
The ideal Teaching Assistant - GCSE will:
*Have a proven track record of a similar background.
*Have experience supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs) on a 1 2 1 basis.
*Have experience supporting KS4 students with GCSE preperation
*Be an excellent, inspirational Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management.
*Possess a passion for pupil development.
*Provide relevant references.
*Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
*Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people.
*Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks.
