Wood CNC Machinist – Doncaster (DN9)
We’re looking for an experienced Wood CNC Machinist to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Doncaster (DN9). This is a stable, long-term role with great hours and competitive pay.
Pay & Hours
*Up to £16.50 per hour, depending on experience
*Overtime paid at 1.25x
*Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
*Friday: Early finish
The Role
*Operating CNC machinery working primarily with timber and wood-based materials
*Programming, setting, and operating CNC routers (programming experience a strong advantage)
*Producing high-quality components to drawings and specifications
*Carrying out quality checks to ensure accuracy and finish
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience operating wood CNC / CNC routers
*Strong understanding of timber, sheet materials, and wood machining processes
*CNC programming knowledge is highly advantageous
*Ability to read and work from technical drawings
*Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
