Job Description:
MSK Physiotherapist – Private Practice (Development Role) Location: East Dorset (BH21) – Strategic Hub near Poole/Bournemouth
Salary: £28,000 – £38,000 per annum Hours: Full-Time (36 Hours per week)
Structure: 30 Hours Clinical / 6 Hours Dedicated CPD & Online Support
The Opportunity An outstanding opportunity for a Graduate or Junior Physiotherapist (up to 2 years’ experience) to transition into a prestigious private practice. This is not a high-volume corporate setting; it is a reputable, multidisciplinary clinic serving a predominantly self-paying demographic. We are looking for a motivated clinician with strong foundations who wants to move away from the NHS/Public sector and build a long-term career in a high-end clinical environment.
The Role Working within a seasoned MDT, you will be supported as you transition into managing a varied private MSK caseload.
* Clinical Focus: Conduct thorough assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment plans with a heavy emphasis on clinical reasoning and hands-on therapy.
* Development: Benefit from a unique 30/6 hour split, ensuring one full day’s worth of time (6 hours) is dedicated to mentorship, online support, and CPD to accelerate your progression.
* Autonomy: Manage your own patient list with increasing independence as your confidence grows.
What We Are Looking For * Education: BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy.
* Registration: Full HCPC and CSP registration (or pending for recent graduates).
* Experience: Previous MSK experience via rotations or placements is essential. We value a "willingness to learn" over years of private practice experience.
* Attributes: A professional, personable approach with the ambition to grow into a senior clinical role.
Why Apply? * Structured Mentorship: Regular case discussions and 1-to-1 support from senior clinicians.
* Future Prospects: Clear pathway for career progression as the service expands.
* Environment: Work in a modern, progressive facility with a collaborative team of allied health professionals.
* Balance: A permanent, stable role with a structured week that prioritises your professional development alongside patient care.
