*Using a 2.5 ton counter balance FLT, unloading of cylinders and banks from vehicles adding to the dedicated bays - assisting Senior Plant Operators and Facility manager on day to day yard duties,
*Some general housekeeping will be part of the role.
*The place is a COMAH site having hazards (gas, pressure, noise, cryogeny…)
*Working as part of a small team on day work in a fast moving environment.
How You Will Contribute and Grow *Operate a FLT (Current License required), 2.5T counterbalance
*Safety-first policy - STOP for safety
*Record on documents for KPI reporting
*Operate fork lift trucks and pallet trucks safely and efficiently
*Comply with company and government regulations
*Experience in chemical/mechanical/related industries preferred
*Adopt a flexible approach to support operational needs
*Maintain a clean and tidy environment; report repair needs
*Good communication skills and teamwork
*Ability to manage own time and work clearly
*Used to working in a unionised environment
*Good health, fitness, and eyesight
*Flexible, punctual and willing to learn
*Manual handling of gas cylinders, pallets and straps
